"Sword in Scale" is a very short action scene comic I thumbnailed and started drawing over a holiday break in college. This is also the sequence I worked on while I was interning for Daniel Warren Johnson (a fantastic comic creator) and he helped me get a better sense for pacing and panel clarity. I ended up adding this black and white version to my college thesis book, "Many Deaths." Some random left-behind smudges and pencil lines bother me now, but at the time I was just happy to meet my deadline. Another version of this is available as a paper zine and I'm currently coloring it for an even fancier version closer to my original idea.
