Prints
As I've started exploring more ways to make art in college, I've found a love for printmaking. Lithography and relief printmaking have become recent favorites. Focusing on the lithograph process, while slow, it is fascinating and has a unique history in Cincinnati (my home town). The included images are of my favorite project from class and give a good look at the overall process.
Three color woodblock print, about 8.5" x 15" on Reeves BFK It's a Quetzalcoatl-ish dragon shooting a fiery beam while covered in arrows and spears over a pile of his crisped enemies! This is my favorite image I've made a print out of so far, but also the most difficult for me. Because of it being three colors, I used and carved three different wood blocks (one for orange, one for pink, and one for black).
Linocut 6.8"x4.5" multicolor diptych
Two lithographs on stone (bottom image had the boat added via an additive printing process)
